AT DEVICE INSIGHT, I AM ABLE TO EXPRESS MY CREATIVITY AS A JAVA DEVELOPER
I joined Device Insight to work on future topics such as IoT and M2M. But I also wanted to work at a Mittelstand company and use the flexibility which a less corporate environment offers. As lead developer, I have worked with many interesting technologies including Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, Cassandra, MQTT, Kafka and Kubernetes, and was able to expand my Linux and DevOps skills. I took on technical project responsibility and grew to become Java development team leader. If you’re creative, motivated and in a good mood (most of the time), if you enjoy working on diverse projects with a highly modern stack and a very cool team, you’ll fit right in.

A GREAT ATMOSPHERE – BEYOND THE HIERARCHY
As a Java software developer, what I really enjoy about Device Insight is the freedom to apply my own ideas to solving challenging technical problems across a range of interesting customer projects. Thanks to the company’s cutting-edge technology and individual training budget, my skills are always up to date. I value the great working atmosphere, especially across levels of the hierarchy. Everywhere you go, you feel the openness, willingness to help and passion which is characteristic of Device Insight employees.

EVEN WHEN I WAS A WORKING STUDENT, DEVICE INSIGHT APPEALED TO ME
I like exploring unknown paths, and working in software engineering at Device Insight gives me the opportunity to do so. For the entire duration of my computer science studies, I worked as a working student (Java development) at Device Insight. This enabled me to complement the theory I was learning with interesting applications while working flexible hours and receiving great support from colleagues and superiors. At the same time, the company was interested in my research topics and the innovative technologies which I contributed.
