Reinhold Stammeier is the CEO and founder of Device Insight. He studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in Bielefeld and has got 25 years of deep industry experience in the process automation, IT and communication areas. He gathered 3 years of experience in the building control area at Siemens-Nixdorf, worked 9 years as a responsible manager in electronic media and SAP for Bertelsmann Group in Germany and the USA.
Before founding Device Insight in 2003 he worked 12 years in consulting. From 1993-1997 he worked as a Principal for Booz Allen & Hamilton in several large consulting assignments for mobile operators, helping to generate new mobile business streams. In 1997 he joined the Media & Communication & High-Tech practice of Accenture (formerly called Anderson Consulting) and operated the international next generation networks / mobile information technology business in central Europe.
In his spare time Reinhold Stammeier enjoys classic cars, motor bikes (Harley Davidson), and South Africa.
Stefan Hübner joined Device Insight in 2003 as a market development specialist for remote connectivity, IoT and M2M. He has in depth insights into the IoT and M2M and remote device management market, as well as several years of experience in the field of project management, sales and the operational business. At Device Insight he is responsible for product management of the IoT and M2M Platform CENTERSIGHT®, pre-sales engineering, partner management, marketing, HR and finances.
Stefan Hübner studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technical University of Munich and at École Centrale in Paris and graduated with a diploma degree in engineering. For Nets-Go AG, Munich, he started with technical functions in the IT industry. From 1999 until 2003 he was managing director of Definion GmbH, Munich. A company that develops and implements high-capacity SMS and radio communication systems.
In his spare time Stefan Hübner enjoys race cycling, mountain biking, skiing and the mountains.
Thomas Stammeier joined Device Insight in 2004 as CTO. Under his vision and guidance Device Insight has developed the IoT Platform CENTERSIGHT®. In his function Thomas Stammeier oversees product development, project delivery and R&D. All IoT projects at Device Insight are delivered through him and his teams. Thomas Stammeier is highly respected by Device Insight’s software developers as well as customers for his vast experience in the area of IT.
Thomas Stammeier studied Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich and graduated with a diploma degree. For Nets-Go AG, Munich, he started developing network infrastructure solutions. From 1999 until 2003 he was head of software development of Definion GmbH, Munich. A company that develops and implements high-capacity SMS and radio communication systems.
In his spare time Thomas Stammer enjoys playing football and experimenting with new software and electronics.
Vice President of Sales
Marten Schirge is in charge of Global Sales at Device Insight in his role as Vice President of Sales.
Head of Solution Management
Hendrik Nieweg has worked at Device Insight since 2007 and is responsible for Solution Management. He coordinates consulting as well as customer support teams.
Since starting at Device Insight in 2007, he has worked as project and account manager. More recently, he was responsible for Device Insight’s product management.
Hendrik Nieweg studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Paderborn, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, he worked in his family’s business before gaining experience in IoT/M2M projects as a freelance IT consultant.
His free-time activities include motorsport, bicycle racing, trail running and skiing.
Head of Product Development
Stefan Hudelmaier joined Device Insight in 2009 as a software engineer and architect. He acted as project lead in a variety of IoT and M2M projects across fields such as smart metering, remote maintenance, logistics, and health. He has been in charge of directing the development of the CENTERSIGHT® Embedded Agent. As Head of Product Development his focus is on moving forward the CENTERSIGHT® server platform by further improving its scalability and availability.
Stefan Hudelmaier majored in computer science with a minor in aerospace engineering at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, and in Linköping, Sweden. In addition to his diploma in computer science, he earned an honors degree in technology management at the Center for Digital Technology and Management. Before joining Device Insight, he worked at Albfrost GmbH and co-founded Vitabu GbR, where he was responsible for software development.
In his spare time Stefan Hudelmaier enjoys experimenting with new software and going for a walk with his dog.
Head of Marketing
Julia Rosenthal is Head of Marketing at Device Insight and has been leading the new department since the beginning of 2015. She takes the responsibility for Internal and External Communication as well as Event-Marketing and Public Relations. Julia Rosenthal is also in charge of media and press request.
As academic Communication Scientist (M.A.) Julia Rosenthal has been gaining different experiences in various Marketing and Press roles: e.g. as communication expert for Bayer MaterialScience or as press referent for a German travel company. Before starting at Device Insight she worked as Marketing Specialist for Microsoft Germany.
Julia Rosenthal is fascinated by sports, especially by skiing and trekking. Apart from sports she likes to do charity work in her spare time. As a member of the Munich Ladies' Circle she supports women in the need of care.
Senior Marketing and Communications Manager
Alexandra Luchtai has been at Device Insight since autumn 2017 and is responsible for the company’s marketing and PR activities, including Digital Marketing, Media Relations and Events as well as all internal and external communications.
Since graduating in communication studies (M.A.), she has worked in a number of press and PR positions, including a post as consultant to a PR agency and as press officer in an industrial association. Before moving to Device Insight, she managed corporate communication at Schreiner Group.
Alexandra Luchtai’s interests include movies and languages and, on the sporty side, Zumba and Salsa dancing. She is also dedicated to a number of human rights social projects.
Head of Human Resources
Stephanie Hömberg heads the Human Resources department at Device Insight, having joined the company in 2017. Her role entails optimizing, managing and executing the company’s recruitment processes, as well as improving its employer branding and marketing to universities. She is also responsible for introducing and optimizing HR processes, and advises and assists staff in all HR-related matters.
Stephanie Hörnberg studied business administration with an HR focus at the University of Munich. After graduating, she joined an HR consulting company before moving to Ferchau Engineering GmbH as an HR specialist for recruiting and university marketing. She then worked as an HR manager at an IT consultancy before joining Device Insight.
In her free time, Stephanie Hömberg enjoys participating actively in sports. She takes part in Bootcamp training twice weekly and often spends time at the bouldering gym. Naturally, she also partakes in typical Munich activities like skiing and hiking.
