Keep track of what’s on the move.

With Telematics.

Keep control of your fleet with real-time location, consumption and vehicle state data.

Powerful IoT solutions for

telematics, connected cars,
vehicle fleets and car pools

In modern fleet management, maintaining your competitive edge depends on getting accurate location data in addition to real-time vehicle data.

The Device Insight IoT framework lets you benefit from a control center for coordinated information access. Develop new solutions and business models for pay-per-use connected cars.

Our modern fleet management offering includes:

  • Consulting services aimed at developing new business models, e.g. car sharing solutions, parking apps etc.
  • Telematics systems that help boost the efficiency and service quality of vehicle fleets
  • Monitoring and reporting on fleet workloads, e.g. geographical distribution, KPIs such as fuel consumption and individual vehicle workloads
  • Location/route tracking and geofencing
  • Customizable fleet dashboards for your data
  • Automatic firmware updates using remote mode

We chose the Device Insight IoT framework. It is based on the latest technology, includes plenty of ready-to-use functions, is secure, highly scalable and can be adapted to meet customer needs. Customers can be sure that they will receive all relevant information regarding their fleet in good time subject to their user profile. The main argument for all user groups is however the saving of time and cost.

– Dr. Friedrich Völker, Manager Digital Products at Kärcher –

In collaboration with Device Insight, we were able to set up our job data management exactly the way we envisioned it. The system guarantees seamless data transfer between our agricultural machines and the farmer’s PC software. Our customers’ response to features such as streamlined options for applying inputs in an optimized fashion, working documentation, and the transmission of waylines and field boundaries for lane guidance, have been overwhelmingly positive. In addition to Fendt, we are therefore also linking other group brands, such as Massey Ferguson, Challenger und Valtra to the IoT solution. We are also planning to add smartphone apps for digital data exchange soon.

application example

Measuring consumption:

Calculate the average fuel consumption of your fleet of connected cars and perform min-max comparisons.

Fleet management:

Optimize your fleet’s workload and compare travel times and downtimes for improved capacity planning.

Early warning:

Receive an immediate notification if the vehicle generates an error message. The system will propose a time for a workshop appointment and provide information on the exact source of the error. If needed, our remote service can assist in remotely parameterizing your vehicles.

Anti-theft warning:

Use geofencing to accurately track your stolen vehicles or machines, e.g. when equipment is illegally removed from a building site. As soon as the vehicle leaves a predefined area, an alarm is triggered.

Vehicle tracking:

Tracking & tracing allows you to determine the location of your trucks, cranes etc. and lets you monitor their utilization and workloads.

Intelligent logbook:

Use the driver score & trip recording functionality to monitor travel times and durations as well as driving behavior, allowing you to verify that your connected cars are being used appropriately.
